Linking Policy
Bid Top Spot will NOT link to any website that contains:
- Pornography or explicit adult themes
- Political propaganda
- Racist, sexist, adult, or other discriminatory content
- Illegal material (including, but not limited to, material that contravenes copyright law - e.g. illegal Mp3s, Warez, Serials etc)
- Spyware or adware
- Slanderous/defamatory content
This is not an exhaustive list. Bid Top Spot reserves the exclusive right to determine which websites it will link to.
Bid Top Spot will also not link to sites that:
- Are under construction
- Do not serve the interests of a significant group of people
- Have poor/ amateur layout or design
- Have broken links
- Contain a large number of advertisements
- Use pop-ups, pop-unders or any other obtrusive advertising.
Submit to the correct Category
If you are a link Submission Services company, submitting to the general Internet category is not appropriate when there is an Internet > Submission Services category. There are over 900 categories in the Big Top Spot Directory but if an appropriate category is not available that fits your site simply submit to the sub category “Other” of the general top category that you would like to be listed in. We will then determine if a new category within that general category is necessary.
Top Categories are reserved for Featured Listings only! Please don’t list to a top general category and hope we won't notice. We review each submission carefully and any it may cause your submission to be rejected.
Write a descriptive Title and Description
Write a good quality title and description. It’s important to you as the owner of the site and it’s important to us in order to properly list your site. Like your website, your title and description must be written in the English.
The correct title is the title of your business or website. For instance, if your company is called John’s Link Submission Services your correct title is "John’s Link Submission Services", not "Submission Services" or “Links”.
Write a description that is fair, unbiased, one and that accurately describes your website. Use proper sentence structure, and correct capitalization and spelling. (We are not going to accept your submission when it is entirely in capitals, or if random words or letters are capitalized!).

Don't use fancy ASCII characters in your title or description.
Don't fill your title and description with keywords - they will either be deleted, or your submission will be rejected.
Check your submission to ensure that spelling is correct and that it meets the guidelines.
A good description will not only help you get you site listed with us, it will also help drive traffic to your site.
Purchase a Featured Link
The best way to get your website in our directory is to choose our Featured Link option – it is currently only $5.00 per year. Your listing will be displayed at the top before regular links in chosen category. You will also have the option of renewing at that price even if the featured link price increases.
Use your real first name and valid email address; we may want to contact you before your website is approved.
